Extra Person Reduction service is now live on Dubai Trade

We are happy to inform you that the Extra Person Reduction service will be live on the Dubai Trade portal, starting from Tuesday, 28 December 2021. This service can be accessed from the Lease Menu
Customers who wish to reduce the number of additional persons residing in Staff Accommodation Facilities can use this service. Requests for the reduction of extra persons from multiple accommodation units can be added in a single request. Refunds (if any) will be calculated and credited to the customer account once the application is approved by Jafza authorities.

Facial Recognition at DP World for Haulier Drivers: Make Sure to Register
We are excited to announce the deployment of cutting-edge facial recognition technology at DP World, which captures and verifies individuals accessing port premises, significantly enhancing our existing security measures and streamlining your business operations.
Registering for facial recognition is mandatory for all truck drivers with RFID tags entering or exiting through these gates:
- Cargo Gate 3
- Cargo Gate 8
- All Container Terminal Gates
Please note, operations at all other gates will remain as per existing practices.
To take advantage of the new facial recognition system, please follow the below steps:
- Log into the Dubai Trade portal.
- Navigate to the Haulier Driver Enrolment service.
- Enter your Gate Pass Number and Name.
- Follow the instructions outlined in the user manual, which can be downloaded here.
Deadline: 15 March 2024
All system enrolments should be completed by 15th March 2024 to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted access to the port. Failure to register by this deadline will lead to restricted access for the above-mentioned gates starting from 16th March 2024.
Please note that uploading incorrect images or tampering with the images will lead to legal consequences.

Introducing Land Lease Renewal on the Dubai Trade Portal
We are pleased to announce the introduction of “Land Lease Renewal” services under the “Leasing Services” menu, effective 29 January 2024.
What this means:
- You will be able to accept Lease Renewal terms directly through the Dubai Trade portal.
- You can track the status of applications submitted through the Dubai Trade portal and conveniently pay the service fees online.
The collection and delivery of physical documents and lease agreements will be replaced with a digital signature solution by DocuSign for short-term renewals and by courier for long-term renewals.
Please note that the courier service will continue to operate via the Dubai Trade platform on a temporary and exclusive basis. This is to complete any previously submitted requests or to submit requests for limited services that are not available yet through the Dubai Trade portal.

New Feature: Sublease Cancellation Service
You can now access our new Sublease Cancellation Service on the Dubai Trade portal.
This new feature is designed to provide you with a seamless and efficient way to manage your sublease agreements in a few simple clicks.
How it works
- Log in to the Dubai Trade portal: Access your account using your credentials.
- Navigate to Sublease Section: Select "Apply for Sublease Agreement Cancellation” from the menu.
- Complete the Process: Enter the service request details and submit it to JAFZA for approval.
- Receive Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once your cancellation has been processed.

Request for Additional Facility service is now live on Dubai Trade

In our constant efforts to enhance your experience, we are happy to inform you that Request for Additional Facility service will be live on the Dubai Trade Portal, commencing from Tuesday, 28 December 2021
This service can be used by customers to submit additional facility requirements to be leased directly from Jafza. The following additional features have been provided:
- Option to provide the information required by EHS for their approval.
- Option to request for a new lease or an amendment to the existing lease.
- Proposal documents will be sent to the customer by email.
- Customers have the option to Accept/Reject/Request for facility viewing from their Dubai Trade portal account.
- Option for customers to book for courier collection of lease agreement after signature (only for New Lease).
- Signed Amendment document will be available digitally.
- Upon closure of service request, customers will receive a system-generated email with links to download signed copy of Lease/Amendment and drawings (where applicable).
- A separate Payment Relaxation service is being implemented for customers to apply for flexible payments for additional facility requests.
- Surveys will be sent to assess customer satisfaction at multiple stages.
Customers are requested to use this service and refrain from visiting the counters/sales section to make requests.
This service can be accessed from Lease Menu > Request for Additional Facility.
Payment Flexibility for additional Facility can be accessed from Lease Menu > Payment Flexibility for Additional Facility.

Submit Request Letter – Jafza Lease is now live on Dubai Trade

We are happy to inform you that the Submit Request Letter – Jafza Lease will be live on the Dubai Trade portal, starting from Tuesday, 28 December 2021. The service can be accessed from the Lease Menu.
Customers can submit request letters for lease termination, downsizing a facility or lease/facility reinstatements via this service. Requests will be sent to the Lease and License Team for processing. Customers will be notified about amendments (if any) once the process is completed.
We highly appreciate your support and urge you to use the portal effectively. Kindly avoid visiting Jafza counters to make these requests.
