Revised Covid-19 Protocols
- Type: News
Considering the drop in positive cases reported across the nation, we have decided to relax our protocols. The revised guidelines with immediate effect are:
- Wearing masks in outdoor areas will be optional. It is still recommended to avoid large gatherings.
- Seating capacity at restaurants and food courts will be increased to 100%.
- Seating capacity in buses will be in line with Dubai Government regulations and announcements. However, it is mandatory to wear masks while travelling on the bus.
- Mosques will return to full capacity.
- Sports and recreational activities will resume.
- If tested positive, the individual will still need a negative PCR test report before being released from the quarantine facility.
- Close contact with positive cases staying in Jafza accommodations will need to quarantine in their own rooms for 24 hours, after which, the individual may conduct a PCR test or visit a doctor to confirm that he/she has no symptoms before returning to work.
- People returning from abroad can go directly to their respective accommodations in Jafza if they are vaccinated and have a negative PCR report from their respective countries before arriving in the UAE, without the need to quarantine.
