What is LGP gate Pass (Local Goods Pass)?

Introduction/Explanation: 

LGP (Local Goods Pass) is a document which helps Jebel Ali FZE companies to take their Cargo INN or OUT using eGate Pass service through Dubai Trade. 

You can create LGP document using your JAFZA Customs account, www.dubaitrade.ae , Request >> LGP Document 

 Steps to Follow: 

• LGP documents allows Jebel Ali FZE companies to bring the cargo from the local market for a certain purpose.  
• Validity for LGP Document (used with e-Gate Pass) depends on the purpose of entry selection. e.g. Storage, Export, and Renting has 1 Year whereas Repair, Maintenance, Re-filling has 1 Month. 
• Within the validity period, customer can make Outbound e-Gate Pass using the same LGP Document Number. 
• System will allow to make Outbound e-Gate Pass only the quantity received using e-Gate Pass 
• System will NOT allow to make Outbound e-Gate Pass even if the Inbound e-Gate Pass is generated but physically cargo is NOT gated In. 
• Entry/Exit Gates Number will be mentioned on e-Gate Pass. 

Note: 

• LGP document validity is seven days form the document creation. 
• Validity for LGP Document (used with e-Gate Pass) depends on purpose of entry selection. e.g. Storage, Export and Renting has 1 Year whereas Repair, Maintenance, Re-filling has 1 Month. Depend on purpose of entry you can make OUT gate pass within the purpose validity 
• If LGP document is used (eGate Pass generated) system not allowed to cancel the LGP.
