Determination of Midday Working Hours

In line with the resolution issued by Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation No. 401 of 2015, we hereby advise you to comply with the resolution’s requirements effectively from Wednesday, 15th of June 2022 to Thursday, 15th of September 2022.

Please be advised that no work under the direct sunlight and in open area shall be carried out/performed between 12.30 PM and 03.00 PM to reduce heat exhaustion, heat stress, heat stroke and related illnesses.

In exceptional cases where continuous work is required, employers must provide workers with cold water and other recommended items by the UAE’s health authorities such as salt and lemon. They must also provide first aid at the workplace and get the necessary approvals from NIP.

Failure to comply with the above Decree shall result in penalties/sanctions.
