Can I cancel a residence permit if the employee is outside the country less than 6 months?
Cancellation of an employee outside the country less than 6 months can be applied online provided that you have the original passport to be submitted. Please follow the below steps:
Steps to Follow:
- Go to www.dubaitrade.ae and log in to your username and password.
- Click on Employee Services
- Residence Permit (RP)
- Residence Permit Cancellation
- Cancel Employee RP – Approval. Click create new request, fill out the form and choose inside the country as NO
- Submit the request to free zone, upload the required documents then pay thru your online portal account.
- The collected passport will be returned to you and the cancellation paper will be sent to your registered email address.
