In a few days, the Holy Month of Ramadan will come with its goodness and blessings. In line with the precautions we’ve collectively taken against the pandemic Coronavirus, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has suspended all permits for Ramadan tents and Iftar gatherings for this year. This comes coinciding with the UAE Government direction to take all preventive measures to eliminate the spread of the novel Coronavirus, COVID – 19.

However, there are many ways you can continue to practice the core principle of Islam of helping our fellow human beings.

Accordingly, NIP companies can arrange to deliver their Iftar food donations by reaching out to IACAD and the Emirates Red Crescent’s Dubai Office for guidance on how to support our community during Ramadan.

Let’s keep the spirit of Ramadan alive and continue to give as directed by the official authorities.
