Dubai Customs announces working hours during Eid Al-Fitr holiday

2020 Dubai Customs announced the official working hours at its customs centers during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, to help individuals and companies clear their goods without any delay.
Air customs centers at Dubai Cargo Village, Dubai Airport Free Zone- gate number (5), Al Maktoum Airport Cargo Cener, and inspection section at Dubai Multi Commodities Center will work round-the-clock during the holiday.
Inspection Center at the UAE Post office will work from 9am to 2pm starting from 3rd day of Eid, and Operations Section at Multi Commodities Center will work after the Eid holiday.
Jebel Ali Inspection Center and Rashid Port Inspection Center will work round the clock during the holiday; whereas Jebel Ali Customer Service and Rashid Port Customer Service centers will work from the third day of Eid, from 8am to 2pm.
Customer Service Center at the Dubai Logistics City, which works under the Land customs Centers Department, will work on Sunday and Tuesday, from 9am to 12pm. Hatta Customs Center will work round-the-clock, whereas Inspection Center at Dubai Logistics City will work from 7:30am to 12 midnight, and Dry Docks and Ducamz centers will work after Eid holiday.
Deira wharfage (inspection), Dubai Creek (inspection), and Hamirya Port inspection centers will work round the clock, but their customer service centers will work from the 3rd day of the holiday from 8am to 12pm. Customs Declaration Department will work 24 hours during the holiday.

Eid Al Fitr Public Holidays 2020 –Jebel Ali Port & Mina Rashid

On the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, the Administrative Offices at Jebel Ali Port and Mina Rashid will be closed for three calendar days depending on the sighting of the moon that will take place on Friday.
- If Eid falls on Saturday, 23rd of May 2020, holidays will start from Saturday until Monday, 25th of May 2020, and work will resume on Tuesday, 26th of May 2020.
- If Eid falls on Sunday, 24th of May 2020, holidays will start from Sunday until Tuesday, 26th of May 2020, and work will resume on Wednesday, 27th of May 2020.
The operation timings during the holidays will be as follows:
Container Terminals: Container Terminals will be closed from 0400 hours to 0900 hours on the first day of Eid, after 0900 hours the operations will resume as normal. General Cargo Department: The GC Vessel operations will be closed on the first day of Eid from 0400hrs till 0900 hrs. Overtime charges as per public holiday rates would be applicable from 1000 hrs on the Eid day. Cargo receiving and delivery of local trucks will be closed during declared Eid holidays. However, services can be provided upon request from customers on prior notice. During this period Overtime charges will be applicable as per public holiday rates. Logistics Centre: Operations at CFS facility will be closed during declared Eid holidays. However, services can be provided upon request from customers on prior notice. During this period, overtime charges will be applicable as per public holiday rates. Cold Store and Cool Store, receiving/ delivery of local trucks will remain closed and will resume operations at 0700 hrs on the second day of Eid. During this period, overtime charges will be applicable as per public holiday rates. Transport & Distribution operations will be closed from 0400 hours to 0900 hours on first day of Eid, after 0900 hours the operations will resume as normal. Marine Department: Berthing and Un-Berthing of Vessels will continue 24 hours
