    DP World, UAE Region is monitoring the current situation of Coronavirus (COVID-19), and implementing measures recommended by the UAE Government and Local and International authorities to safeguard the health and wellbeing of its employees and customers.

    Therefore, we would like to share with you the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Guidance for Ship Operators produced by the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) to support all types of ships and its crews operating in international waters.

  • New Coronavirus

    In line with the attached circular issued by the Federal Transport Authority- Land & Maritime (FTA) for the New Coronavirus (2019-nCoV), kindly note that all ships calling DP World Ports that have visited a Chinese port in the last 30 days must provide a statement by the Master three days before the arrival to DP World Ports stating that all crew members on board are free from any symptoms that include the following:

    • High fever
    • Sore throat
    • Persistent coughing and breathing difficulties
    • Other symptoms that may cause the New Coronavirus


    If the New Coronavirus is suspected to be affecting the crew on board a ship, the Port management will report the possibility to FTA, and will await further instructions before allowing the ship to enter. Please click here to view the circular released by the FTA.


    We kindly request all Vessel Masters and/ or Agents to notify the Port of crew change by providing a list, which includes (Passenger Names, Passport Details, and List of countries visited in the last 14 Days). The list shall be submitted to (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) 48 Hours prior to vessels ETA. This will ensure that all relevant Coronavirus screenings are conducted in coordination with Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
