National Disinfection Programme

The National Disinfection Programme announced by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) and the Ministry of Interior (MoI), in collaboration with relevant federal and local authorities, entails complete sterilisation of all public utilities, public transport and metro services from today, 26th of March 8pm till Sunday 29th of March 6am.
As per the direction of the Government, we urge you to stay at home during the disinfection time and avoid going outside unless it is absolutely necessary to get essential supplies, such as food and medicine, or working in vital sectors.
Kindly note that during the disinfection period, all DAZ customers/vendors will be required to present their Emirates ID, Employee ID and necessary permits to enter DAZ.

Kindly note that during the disinfection period, all NIP customers/vendors will be required to present their Emirates ID, Employee ID and necessary permits to enter NIP.

Update on Extending National Disinfection Programme

The National Disinfection Programme, announced by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) and the Ministry of Interior (MoI), has been extended until Sunday, 5th of April 2020 to be effective from 8pm to 6am. However, during the daytime, traffic and public movements shall continue as normal.
As per the direction of the Government, we urge you to stay at home during the disinfection time and avoid going outside unless it is absolutely necessary to get essential supplies, such as food and medicine, or working in vital sectors.Kindly note that during the disinfection period, all Jafza customers/vendors will be required to present their Emirates ID, Employee ID and necessary permits to enter the Free Zone.

Update on Movement Permit During the “National Disinfection Programme”

In line with the precautionary measures taken by the UAE Government to curb the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Dubai Police announced the following updates on the Movement Permit System put in place during the period of the National Disinfection Programme. The updates include the following:
Cash Withdrawal: The permit will be issued only once every (5) days and for no more than (1) hour. During this time, the applicant should not leave their area of residence.
Medical Visits: This category is no longer available. However, permits for medical visits can be obtained by applying under the medical emergency category.
Grocery Shopping: A permit will be issued only once every (3) days. Additional requests during this (3) day period will be rejected.
Dubai Police also confirmed that the permit system will automatically adjust time slots to prevent crowding.
The vital sectors and essential services providers will remain permitted to carry out their activities.
Jafza will continue to explore every possible measure to keep essential trade flowing without disruption across vital sectors.
