The world is facing unprecedented challenges with communities and economies everywhere affected by the growing COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, mindful of the current evolving situation and in line with UAE Government efforts to support the entire community, we at DP World, UAE Region highly encourage our customers/companies to contribute to Community Solidarity Fund against COVID-19 set up by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department of the Government of Dubai.

The fund aims to facilitate community contributions and donations towards fighting against the coronavirus outbreak under the guidance and directions of the UAE’s leadership.

1. We’d like to take this opportunity and thank our partners who added a great value to the initiative:
2. NAFCO, which contributed with a fund of AED1 million.
3. Oriental Group FZE/ Oriental General Trading Inc., which contributed with a fund of AED250,000
4. Independent Tobacco FZE, which contributed with a fund of AED250,000
5. Kaane American International Tobacco Co. FZE, which contributed with a fund of AED250,000
6. Intercontinental Leaf Tobacco Co. FZE/EUROLEAF, which contributed with a fund of AED250,000

Donations received will go towards funding “10 million meals” campaign declared by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the health sector, preparing Iftar in addition to other Ramadan activities.
