Resumption of Issuing Residence/Visit Visas, and Conducting Medical Fitness Test

In order to keep you abreast of the latest rules regarding resuming work at government entities and public sector at 100% capacity and with the completion of the National Sterilisation Programme, we would like to inform you that the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has announced an update on the procedures of issuing residence/visit visas as well as medical fitness test.
Accordingly, GDRFA will resume issuing residence and visit visas for people willing to come from outside the UAE. In addition, applicants for issuing/renewing residence visa will also need to undergo the medical fitness test (which was suspended during the last period due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic).
Medical application requests will be generated by Jafza and the applicant will receive it in their registered email. Hence, no need to prepare the medical applications from typing centers
