NIP Waste Disposal Reminder
As a part of our responsibility and dedication to maintain a safe and secure environment, we closely monitor and enforce compliance with various protocols and environmental standards.
Recently, it has come to our attention that there have been instances of illegal dumping of construction debris in various open plots within NIP. These actions are in violation of our protocols.
Please follow these steps to ensure you are disposing waste in a manner that meets the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation’s Environment, Health and Safety standards.
Construction Debris Removal:
- All construction debris must be removed from the site by a third-party transport service provider approved by Trakhees EHS.
- You must obtain a Trakhees EHS collection permit/vehicle pass before removing any debris.
- Retain all receipts and evidence of the permits/passes and the collection and disposal for verification by the Trakhees CED Inspection Engineer.
- Coordinate the waste disposal with the area Inspection Engineer for a smooth and efficient process.
For further details, please review these protocols:
Please note that non-compliance with these protocols will result in disciplinary action.
