Vessel Horn Blowing Initiative at Jebel Ali Port & Mina Rashid

In line with the directive issued by the Federal Transport Authority (FTA) - Land and Maritime, all Tugboats at Jebel Ali Port and Mina Rashid will participate in a Vessel Horn Blowing initiative to appreciate those who are working in this challenging time of Coronavirus (COVID-19) to maintain a seamless flow of trade in the region.

We encourage all vessels to join us in this initiative as a global marine community. We have implemented the following measures to comply with FTA's requirement and support your participation:

• P&O management will ensure that all our tugboats will blow their horns at 06:30 pm for 15 seconds every day
• Marine pilots will inform the vessels that will be boarding, to adhere to the abovementioned recommendation
• Port control will advise all the vessels in the Harbour in advance on channel 69 to blow their horns for 15 seconds at 06:30 pm every day
