Dubai-China trade grows 19%

uae-china-tradeDubai Customs and its counterparts in China have underlined their keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperative relations in all aspects of customs business in such a way that will benefit them in improving customer service delivery standards, promoting business and enhancing trade relations between UAE and China.This came during the visit of a high level delegation from China Customs headed by Lu Peijun, Vice Minister of the General Administration of China Customs, Deputy Customs Commissioner-General, to Dubai Customs today.


DP World said to invest $1bn in Kazakhstan

dpwqr containersDubai-based port operator DP World is planning to invest $1bn in the development of the "Khorgos-Eastern Gates" freezone and Aktau Port in Kazakhstan, a visiting Kazakh official told Zawya.During the visit, key members of the Kazakh delegation, led by deputy prime minister Aset Isekeshev, and the Kazakh railway monopoly Kazakhstan Temir Zholy signed an agreement with DP World to cooperate in the management of the seaport and social economic zone.

The largest oil & gas show in Iraq opened its gate to 18,000 visitors from over 35 countries in 2012, proving itself as an effective international exhibition. The event turned out to be the largest event in Iraq’s oil & gas sector this year as it was in last year. A great portion of the participants of this year's Edition came respectively from the Iraq, UAE, Turkey, Germany, Jordan, to list the top five countries. The UK and the USA follow these five in the list of countries providing highest numbers of participant companies.
